Animal Welfare through Advocacy, Awareness, and Action
The Purple Patch Trust (PPT) is a registered animal welfare trust working in Delhi NCR to protect small animals and birds through humane advocacy, rescue coordination, foster and adoption support, and partnerships with schools, communities, and fellow animal welfare organisations.

For several years, Purple Patch operated a shelter-based model for abandoned and abused small animals. Following severe flooding and operational constraints at our earlier shelter site, we have restructured our work to focus more strongly on prevention, awareness, and coordinated support. Today, our animals are being cared for in partnership with All Creatures Great and Small (ACGS) in Faridabad, while Purple Patch expands its work in humane education, community outreach, rescue referral, and adoption support.

We believe that lasting animal welfare begins not only with rescue, but with changing how people think, act, and care. Our work now centres on helping children, families, schools, and communities better understand responsible animal care, the consequences of abandonment, the risks of illegal pet trade, and the importance of protecting wildlife and vulnerable companion animals.

Purple Patch Trust is registered under the Indian Trusts Act and is recognised by the Animal Welfare Board of India. Donations are eligible for tax benefit under 80G, and the Trust is also eligible to receive foreign contributions under FCRA.
