The Purple Patch Trust
The Purple Patch Trust (PPT) is an animal sanctuary in the Delhi NCR area that provides refuge and care for abandoned and mistreated small animals. We offer shelter, healthcare, and nourishment to small animals – from rabbits and guinea pigs to budgerigars and finches – who have been deserted, ill-treated, or neglected.
Registered as a not-for-profit Charitable Trust under the Trust Act of 1882, PPT is proud to be recognised by the Animal Welfare Board of India (AWBI).
Donations to the Trust are eligible for tax deductions under section 80G (5) (vi) of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Furthermore, we are eligible to receive foreign funds under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA) of 2010.
Please note that we are unable to accept animals protected under the Wildlife Protection Act of 1972. However, we would be happy to recommend alternative shelters that can accommodate such creatures.
